Policies AND FAQs 


  • Visits must be booked at least 7 days before the initial visit date. For holidays visits, please book at least 2 weeks in advance. Outside of these time frames, a late booking fee will be added.

  • Please email or text me your schedule, this way dates are clearly noted and there’s no confusion on either end.

  • Please make a follow up email or text to confirm a phone call to prevent confusion.

  • Schedules are set in place to accommodate all of my clients. Should your schedule change without the appropriate notice, fees will be imposed.


  • Accepted forms of payment: cash, check, credit card, PayPal and Popmoney.

  • Pet sitting visit invoices are to be prepaid at time of booking, unless otherwise discussed.

  • Potty breaks, kitty checks and recess payment is due on arrival at the first visit. I will email you an invoice prior to that. If you leave cash, please label it: “FOR ALL PAWS ARE WALKING.” Please make checks out to: “KELLY DICARLO.”

  • Regarding potty breaks, kitty checks and recess: We reserve the right to ask for pre-payment during holiday times.

  • As noted on the Services and Rates page, Holidays, transportation, exotic and/or additional animals, and location may be subject to an additional charge.

  • Tips are never expected, but always appreciated.



In regards to pet sitting visits:

  • If the client cancels from 8 days to 2 months before scheduled visit, 50% of the invoice total is due.

  • If the client cancels within 7 days or less before scheduled visit, 75% of the total invoice is due.

  • If the client returns and prearranged visits remain, no money will be refunded.


In regards to potty breaks, kitty checks and recess visits:

  • Once visit dates are sent to me and confirmed, they are booked.

  • Visits cancelled due to illness, days off, school cancellations or weather cannot be rolled over or used to prepay future visits. 


  • All keys and security system codes are kept in a locked box, and each key is marked separately. 

  • For safety purposes, I require at least two keys. I do charge a pick-up and drop-off fee of $5 after visits are completed.

  • If you are locked out of your home, please feel free to call me to unlock your door. Please see “hourly fee” on the “visits and rates” page on my website for this charge.

  • A text message will be sent shortly after each visit. If you would like to know how your pet is, please feel free to call (315) 430-2139.

  • Please keep in mind there is a two-hour leeway for visits therefor, an exact time cannot be guaranteed..


I can arrive anywhere from two hours before or after the agreed-upon time. This ensures that each of the many pets in my

care is adequately attended to. Typical times for visits are:

  • Wake up from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m.

  • Midday from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

  • Tuck in from 9 to 11 p.m.

All Paws Are Walking has a set of experienced associates who may visit in my place if an emergency or conflict arises. I will have

already trained these people with your pet prior to entrusting them with the responsibilities of caring for your pet.



  • It is your responsibility to let me know when you’ve arrived home after pet sitting visits.
